What) Our farm store is open daily and offers nuts (raw or roasted and salted) and a wide selection of sun dried fruits, chocolates, fudge and candies.  You'll love coming out and having a picnic in the beautiful tree-filled park and feeding the menagerie of farm animals.  The Bates Nut Farm has become well-known for its special events held through-out the year of the 100-acre ranch.     Why) Would you believe that the Nut Farm turned out to be one of Pam's favourite Buckys?  I only discovered it in the lobby of our San Diego hotel and we had to drive out of our way to get there but it turned out to be one that we both enjoyed despite the "earthquake" rain.




























I purchased a bag of cashews (already half eaten by this time) and this jar of lime marmalade (very pleasant as a summer treat).








Pam purchased a few more items than that but she claimed that most of them were going to be given as gifts.





I didn't know the nut farm was a Buckys until later so I took those pictures in a motel parking lot.  That is where I found these lillies.
