world. The mall covers a gross area of about 570,000 m2 (well
over 6 million sq ft) and it contains over 800 stores and
services and parking for more than 20,000 vehicles. More than
23,000 people are employed at the property. The mall receives
28.2 million visitors per year and it also attracts between
60,000 and 150,000 shoppers daily, depending on the day and
season. West Edmonton Mall was valued at $926 million in
January 2007.
Major attractions include Galaxyland (the second largest indoor amusement park in the world featuring 24 rides and attractions), World Waterpark (the world's largest indoor waterpark with a size of over 20,000 square metres (4.9 acres)), Sea Life Caverns (an indoor lake which contains a salt-water habitat with a sea lion and a replica of the Santa Marķa) and Professor WEM's Adventure Golf (an 18-hole miniature golf course). Why) Pam
had never been to the Mall and it seemed to me like one of
those big spectacles that you should visit if you get the
chance. Pam also claimed that she had never played
minigolf either so I wanted to show her that as well.
